Being a face mask addict with deep worry lines of my forehead, I simply had to try it. Keep reading to learn about the reusable brow mask and my experience with it.

What is a reusable brow mask?
A reusable brow mask is a mask made specifically for your brow area to target fine lines and “worry” lines between brows (also known as “11 lines”). This reusable brow mask isn’t meant to cover your entire face. It only covers the top portion of your face from forehead to brow. It’s washable and can be used multiple times which is more eco-friendly in comparison to other masks.
Does a brow mask really help minimize frown lines?
To understand whether or not this would work, you have to understand how frown/worry lines are made:
- They are muscles in your forehead that protrude over time due to frowning, squinting, or scrunching. This brow mask (along with Frownies) are basically a way to retrain those muscles and flatten them out over time.
- In the short-term, these brow masks or other taping techniques can minimize movement and increase awareness when there is movement in the area.
What are the benefits of a reusable brow mask?
The main benefits of a reusable brow mask are:
- More cost-efficient than buying individual masks
- You can use your favorite skin serum. Another benefit of this particular brow mask is that it comes in its own tin which is great for traveling, throwing into your bag, and keeping clean.

- According to the Pacific website, these masks “gently lift and flatten skin, helping to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles above and between your brows.”
- Since they are made of silicone, they also “create a vacuum-like seal between your favorite serum and your skin, helping to “seal” in the ingredients and boost hydration.”
- These brow masks are supposed to be cheaper dupes of the Frownies brow mask (also extremely popular on TikTok) .
Pacifica Reusable Brow Mask Review
Pacifica Reusable Brow Mask packaging and product:
The brow mask comes packaged in a cute tin (similar to an Altoid’s tin). The brow mask is smooth and slightly raised/puffy on one side, and flat and sticky on the other side. It’s very easy to tell which side is up vs down.
How I use the brow mask:
I use this reusable brow mask as part of my nightly/overnight skincare routine. I apply a few drops of my Naturium Retinol serum directly on my face, rub it into my skin, then place the mask over my brow area. You could experiment with applying drops of serum directly to the mask then placing it on your skin. Either way, it’s definitely very slippery but not more than the pre-packaged brow masks. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised at how the mask stayed on my brow. In addition to the reusable brow mask, I also pair this with Pacifica’s reusable undereye masks.
How the mask feels on my skin:
Since the brow mask is one big piece, it does take some adjusting to get it to lay flat on my face. This will likely be the case for anyone who uses the mask sine everyone has a different brow and face shape. It wasn’t very difficult to adjust and I was surprised and how it was able to lay flush on my skin. In fact, (and to my own surprise) I would mostly agree with Pacifica’s “vacuum-like seal” statement.
How long can Pacifica’s Reusable Brow mask actually stay on?
Once I placed it on my brow, I flattened it out with my fingers and it stayed on my face throughout the entire night. Again I was pleasantly surprised. I was almost certain I’d wake up to a naked brow and have to resort to digging around my bed for a limp and possibly linty brow mask. This wasn’t the case at all. I found myself pressing down on the mask when I first started using it. Not because the mask was slipping off in any way, more so an attempt to relax my brow muscles and keep them flat. The mask actually helped me become much more aware of how often I would furrow my brow without even knowing it.

Reusable brow mask cleaning process + lifespan
Cleaning the brow mask is pretty simple. I used a gentle facial cleanser to wash and left it out to dry before placing back into the Pacifica tin. This is to prevent any kind of molding in the tin, or trapping unnecessary moisture in the tin. I’ve used it a total of 7 times and it is still in great condition. To my surprise, it is as sticky as when I first got it. I’m not sure how long the life span is supposed to be but I would say that it’s been more cost effective for me in comparison to buying disposable brow or facial masks.
Brow Mask Results
I’m not going to claim that the results have been dramatic but I do notice that my skin is smoother and the worry lines aren’t as prominent when I wake up in the morning. I don’t ever expect to see immediate results from little gadgets like this. Instead equate using this brow mask to adding weights to my existing workout routine. In other words, it certainly will help but you’ll need to use this regularly and integrate it into an existing routine.
Final thoughts: Is this mask worth buying?
This mask is $15.00 and overall I’d say YES it’s worth buying. While I was initially shocked by the price, I have found myself using it more often than I originally thought. I not only use this during my night time/overnight routine, I find myself using it when I’m working on my computer, reading, or on my phone for extended amounts of time. I’ve found that I tend to furrow my brow most often during those activities. My only qualm is that I wish the area where the brow mask curves to cover the area between my brows was bigger. My wrinkles are personally a bit deeper in that area but this may not be the same for everyone. I’d say that this is a “very nice to have” in your self care / skincare routine.
